So....are we coming back to school this fall????

As you know, we recently conducted a survey to collect data on how our community feels about the potential of coming back to school this fall. We had over 640 families respond!!! The results of that survey are attached here.

In addition, school districts throughout the state are working tirelessly to determine the best path forward for serving students when we return. Tri-Valley is no exception. Last week, the Illinois State Board of Education in association with the Illinois Department of Public Health released a document entitled "Starting the 2020-2021 School Year." This document contained specific guidelines that we must meet to hold in person instruction. We are in the process of digesting that information and creating specific plans for the fall.

In the spirit of complete transparency, I have created a short video that highlights where we are, and the facets of the plans that must be included in any return to school scenario. Our back to school plans will be released in early to mid-August as we work to collaborate with local officials and state agencies.

As outlined in the video, our goals in any plan are to keep students and staff as safe as possible, to provide in-person instruction as much as possible, and to maintain flexibility should changes need to occur. We ask for your patience and support as we work through these unprecedented times. We've got this!!! #togetherTV3
